Vacation Bible School and Back Yard Bible Club

Our goal is spreading the Gospel message of Jesus Christ throughout our community. Our VBS and BYBC is one of the many programs we use to accomplish this goal.  We want to reach as many as possible in an organized and orderly matter. We also serve God so He will see His results, not so we will see ours. There is no higher goal in life than devoted service to God. We all work together and make the necessary adjustments and improvements to make this our greatest Bible school each year. Therefore,  Comments and Suggestions are welcome and appreciated.  We've gained many members through this effort, and the children's lives can really be changed through our efforts with God's blessings.

We usually have VBS and BYBC the third week of June from 7:00 to 8:30 pm.  This allows for the whole family to join in and get involved.  Some members take their vacation then too. We try to get as many church members to volunteer in this large out reach. We have at least 250 members from the age of 15 years old to senior adults helping in all areas of this ministry.

We provide Bible lessons, crafts, and refreshments for the children. For the workers we have a prayer time before each night begins.  We also instruct each teacher on the lessons they in turn will be teaching to the children.

We give out a helpful hint packets to all workers which contain Rules and Safety Surveys, VBS and Bus workers names, and Maps of our classes and other locations.

Our Workers:
Overseers, Witnessing, Music, Greeters, Obey & Mercy, Nurses, Refreshments, Crafts - Inside and Outside, Floaters, and Clean up.

Our Classes:
Nursery to 4 years old for (WORKERS KIDS ONLY)
K - 12 Grades Classes

In Each Class:
Teacher, Assistant Teacher, Registration Person in each room, which is usually 3 to 4 adult workers.

From 6th Grade and up we have two workers in each of the rooms—Teacher and Assistant Teacher.

At Each BYBC Site:
Classes for all ages: Nursery to 4 years old, K-12 and adult classes.
Each Class has 3 to 4 workers.  Each site has anywhere from 10 to 20 workers total.

Teachers and Assistant Teachers, Registration, Music, Greeters, Refreshments and Crafts.
